We take particular care to ensure that our food is cooked fresh on the premises daily and this is often confirmed by the regular compliments from our customers. Breakfasts are cooked freshly to order with only a short waiting time. Lunches are served in the bar or restaurant, cooked to order from a varied menu.

Evening meals start at 5pm (finish at 9pm) Mon to Fri, offering a Carvery – second to none and various other choices including our renowned homemade steak and potato pie, generous portion of fresh haddock & chips and scampi & selection of salads. There is also a daily special on offer.
Our chips are rumbled, chipped and fried freshly and the Yorkshire puddings also rise to the occasion – size does matter!

The lorry park which can accommodate 200+ Lorries is at present 80% tarmacked with plans to completely tarmac the whole surface in the near future.  It is has easy access and Exit for even the longest vehicle!

Security is constantly being reviewed.  The lorry park itself is surrounded by security fence and present work (March 2011) involves a new combined entrance and exit which will shortly be monitored by CCTV cameras and number plate recognition system.

Further future plans are to introduce a multi pump fuel station and outside toilet facilities.

The Stockyard offers a comprehensive service to all of our customers and is open 365 days a year, even Christmas day!
